Portrait Susan Müller-Wusterwitz

Dr. Susan Müller-Wusterwitz, proprietor of DigiKultur, is a licensed art restorer and art historian. After her training at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg, (Museum for Arts and Crafts) she worked as Conservation Assistant at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. From there, she went to the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

She completed her art history studies at the University of Hamburg. After her graduation, in 2001, she faced a new challenge: she became the Hamburg coordinator for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research project School of Seeing in the art history department of the university. School of Seeing was an e-learning study that united several universities across Germany in cooperative work. She learned the potential of digital media for transmitting art and art history content while developing, producing, and executing online courses.

Her experience and competence, gathered from various positions in Germany and other countries, have come together in the development of DigiTour.

Dr. Susan Müller-Wusterwitz is lecturer for digital media in the department of cultural history and studies of the University of Hamburg.
